Dr. W. Scott Mays

Owner of Pet Medical Center in Frisco & All Pet Care Center in Prosper. Born and raised in Frisco, Texas, he graduated from Frisco High School and is a 5th generation “Friscoite”. He and wife Janis currently reside in Celina, they have a set of twins (1 boy, 1 girl). Dr Mays has 2 older children who graduated from Frisco High School.

Dr. Mays studied Biological Medical Science and attended the College of Veterinary Medicine while at Texas A & M University. He graduated from Texas A & M University in 1976. He Practiced in southern and northern California, Houston and Irving, Texas before returning home to Frisco. He began his Frisco practice in 1982.

An avid outdoorsman, Dr Mays is environmentally conscious and is involved with numerous animal rescue groups. He is dedicated to continually improving and strengthening the “human-animal bond”, and to the deliverance of progressive veterinary medicine.

He primarily works in the Frisco location but as time allows hopes to help in our Prosper location.

 

 

 

 


 

Edie Shackelford, Practice Manager

Edie Shackelford has been with Dr Mays at Frisco Veterinary Clinic/Pet Medical Center & All Pets Care Center since 1991 starting as a kennel person and helping in a small clinic Dr Mays still had in Celina, then as a technician for a while, finally as the front desk manager. Taking on the responsibilities of Practice Manager for Pet Medical Center mid 2004 and All Pets Care Center when it opened late 2004.

Married to Vet Tech Robert for 35yrs, they have 1 adult daughter. They live in Celina with their 4 dogs and 2 cats.

Dr. Nathan Sargent


Dr. Nathan Sargent earned his Bachelor of Science degree in biology from Abilene Christian University in 1996 and his degree in Veterinary Medicine from Colorado State University in 2001. Dr. Sargent practiced in Denver for 3 1/2 yrs before moving to Prosper in 2004. He is a member of the American Veterinary Medical Association ant the Texas Veterinary Association. His special interests in veterinary medicine are surgery, anesthesia and internal medicine.

During his spare time Dr. Sargent enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and watching movies.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 



 

Dr. Cassandra Meier

 
graduated from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine in 1996. She has practiced in Oregon, Florida and wisely returned to the state of Texas where she resides with her partner and their 4 dogs ( Jake, Jack, Ethel and Blackie ) and 2 cats ( Tiger and Mortimer). She enjoys working on home improvement projects, reading, and spending time with friends
 
 

 

 

 

 


 

Dr. Erin Kelley
